Bro Team
Questions, anyone?
What's the Bro Team, and why should I join?
You should join because we need passionate riders to build rider networks at local levels. How often do you get to be part of a new sport?
What's the catch?
There is definitely a catch. We need a lot of grassroots "boots on the ground" to help build the sport of SnowBMX. If you help grow the sport, we'll hook you up with discounts, and maybe even some free stuff.
How does it work?
First, you fill out a Bro Team form with a bunch of information that will help us grow the sport and develop new products. We want to know how old you are, what kind of work you do, how you heard about us, what other sports you like, where you live, the magazines you read, the music you listen to, and what thoughts you have about SnowBMX and Crighton. Most of that info will remain completely confidential-we understand that it's sketchy to give out that kind of stuff on the Internet-and if you are under 18, you definitely need to get your folks involved. We will never share or sell your info with anybody else, and if you want to feel more comfortable, give us call and talk to us first. 866 360-4400.
Some info, and some of your time, you need to be willing to share with other riders. We can't be everywhere all the time, so we need your eyes and ears. By joining the Bro Team, you are willing to make yourself available to answer questions and provide support for other riders who live in your area, or want to come visit (and they'll do the same for you).
E-mail contacts for Bro-Team members, and their city of residence (not address) will be posted on the site, and we will encourage communication between riders. Share inside information about resort access, events, conditions, getting together in larger groups-the stuff that developing sports are made of. Naturally, each person is going to have a different level of commitment--but we would want every Bro member to be available via email.
If the whole idea freaks you out, and you don't want anybody e-mailing you, just skip the Bro Team and buy your Snowmoto at full price, which is still a smokin' good deal.
Is that all? That seems like stuff I would like to do anyway.
No-that's not all. There are actually four levels of Bro Team participation, and this is just the first step. We are building a global team from top to bottom. Over time, we will have a network of riders in each of these four categories:
Bro:
You are about to fill out the form, and join the Bro Team.
Sponsored:
Give us enough reason to believe that you can really influence the future of the sport in your area by riding hard and spreading the word-and we might bump you up to the Sponsored Team or "Flow" Team. At this level, you will become involved in product beta testing (which means we send you stuff for free, and you get to test it and keep it) and serving as a front-line force in the quest to open every mountain.
Travel Team:
This level is based on skills, and elevates you into the realm of riders who get plane tickets to cool places--where our personal paparazzi will make a celebrity out of you. Video and photos of you blowing minds is definitely required for you to reach this level, so start shooting.
Pro:
Lifestyles of rich and famous.OK, riding pro for Crighton isn't going to make anyone into a bling-dripping rockstar yet-but it does mean that we are looking for a very select handful of riders who actually get paid to do this.
